Let the Kanga do the work
Anyone who has ever used a Kanga Loader will need no convincing about just how useful and versatile a Kanga can be. Used for a variety of projects from fencing to landscaping to stable and estate management, a Kanga justifies itself every time it is used.
However, there is more to Kanga than just power and performance, with a massive array of attachments available, a Kanga Loader is extremely versatile, changing from a post-hole borer for one task to a turf cutter the next!
To demonstrate just how handy a Kanga Loader can be, we have picked three of our favourite Kanga attachments and come up with some alternative uses! Check them out…
We love the Kanga standard bucket, suitable for use with series 2,5,6,7, and 8, there isn’t many applications this bucket wouldn’t be useful for! Made from high tensile steel, it promises longevity and can cope with the toughest of materials. Two bucket sizes are available, one designed for the smaller Kanga 2 series and a larger one for the 5,6,7 and 8 models. Sized to suit each model, the bucket can be safely filled to the top and won't unbalance or tip the Kanga
Primarily used for moving muck, sand, soil and other materials, the standard bucket can also be used for backfilling and even on cleanup duty!
And if you find your standard bucket isn’t going to be needed for a while, utilise the bright yellow design and fill with soil and plant with bright summer blooms, position the bucket at the entrance to your stable, farm or estate for a unique and bright welcome to visitors!
For use with series, 2,5,6,7 and 8 is the Kanga hydraulic angle/ backfill blade. Designed to save time when backfilling trenches or moving soil, the backfill blade is a very useful addition to any site. However, did you know that it could be useful year round? The last few years has seen the UK covered in a blanket of snow, often making driving conditions treacherous.
Fixing the backfill blade on to a Kanga Loader however will see an operator able to clear pathways and roads of snow, making them once again passable! With fingertip hydraulic controls tilting the blade left to right, getting the most from this attachment is easy.
Our third favourite attachment and doing exactly what it says, is the Kanga muck grapple fork, we love the versatility of this attachment, which is able to shift all kinds of awkward material, including shrubbery, straw and hay.
Two versions are available one for the Kanga Kid (2 series) and a larger one, designed for use with the 5, 6, 7 and 8 series loaders. Hydraulically powered, it means one operator can move and process lots of material in a fraction of the time it would take to do by hand and with little effort! But what about an alternative use for this already incredibly useful attachment? Well, we reckon it could be a great addition to zoos, safari parks and farms. In these settings, food brought to the animals is often needed to be placed up high or in awkward spots, in order to challenge the animals. Using a Kanga Loader and grapple fork, different foods can be gripped and moved into a variety of hard to reach places – now that is versatile!
When choosing a Kanga Loader, owners are also choosing to say goodbye to the need for a wheelbarrow, separate concrete mixer, shovel and even a brush! The Swiss Army knife of construction equipment, a Kanga Loader also helps to save time; jobs can be done in half the time it would take to do using other equipment. What’s more, because a Kanga is operated by just one person, labour costs are also reduced and with workers free to tackle other tasks, jobs can be turned around quicker – all important in these tough economic times. With operators away from the working arm of the Kanga, exposure to Hand Arm Vibration is also significantly reduced as is the risk of back injury, pulled or strained muscles and other injuries.
